I'm reading the Narnia books at the moment. I've never read them before apart from The Magician's Nephew which I first read last year when I bought the box set for a ridiculously cheap price in The Works but then put the rest aside. I re-read that before starting on the rest and I love all the ones I've read so far.
I've spent most of today curled up on the sofa lost in Narnia, reading The Horse and His Boy this morning and Prince Caspian this evening (this afternoon I dragged myself back into the real world long enough to go food shopping and do laundry, that was boring!)
And having just finished Prince Caspian I could cry. Because I don't know if it's just me or not but the bit at the end where Peter tells Lucy that Aslan has said he and Susan are getting to be too old now and will never return to Narnia is really, really sad!
That said, something tells me that I'm going to be left wishing their were more than seven books in the series once I've read the rest of the books and get to the very last page in The Last Battle.
Who knew there was so much more to Narnia than The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe? I think I should have because I used to watch a kids TV show about it years ago - but I didn't.

Hi! I'm a huge cronicles fan! I live in South-Africa and was first introduced to the series by an american my father met when he was working near Chicago. I read the lion, the witch and the wardrobe first and contineued the series and read the magician's nephew last. I like the C.S. Lewis draws you into narnia by discribing the suroundings so amazingly. Last year my mom got me the all in one edition and i've read it over so many times, it never gets old!
