Yo soy una chica en una silla de ruedas, tienes el bano para minusvalido y un ascensor?  Y donde esta?  Me gusta una sangria tambien por favor.

I finally got out in my manual wheelchair for a walk this evening.  It occurred to me the other day that as I'm taking my manual chair to madrid I need to get into some practice with it.  My powerchair is great but I have lost some of my strength.  So I got out for about 25 minutes and didn't struggle too much with the walk I planned or found it that tiring.  It took me 26 minutes exactly.  I'm going for attempt #2 tomorrow and intend to do a little with this chair everyday until I go. I'm not going to worry about my weight (losing some) before I go but I do need to be fitter or I'm not going to be able to do much and I'm gonna struggle a lot there.  I loved my walk too so it really is ALL GOOD!

And as the above shows, I've been refreshing my memory when it comes to el espanol.  who knows what that phrase means?
I guess you could say I'm in training for Madrid!
