Goals I'm Currently Working On - January

"Eighty percent of success is showing up" ~Woody Allen

I've not made new years resolutions this year but I am working on my 101 in 1001 list and I thought it might be worth noting here which specific goals I'm currently working on for January.

Be in bed before midnight every night for a month.  It's not been long before midnight but it's working so far.

Trying to do a tiny bit of walking (I leave my wheelchair slightly further from the loo than usual) a few times a day - it only works out about ten or so steps each time but its progress.

Taking my meds daily for six months was going very well but got derailed by running out of baclofen.  I found some earlier in the most stupid place (and unexpected place!) and have more on order so that will restart tonight.

A Photo 365 project didn't really get started properly.  I'm debating that one.

I'm planning to read the two books I have left as "things" soon and I also hope to count up tomorrow and work out how many new to me books I've read since starting the list (the goal is 250 over the 1001 days).

I'm working on a rough list of ideas for thing a day 2010 and am excited to give it a much better try this year.

The other goal that I'm working on but which isn't on my 101 in 1001 list is trying to spend an hour or so out of my chair every afternoon.

Good luck with your goals this month Emma. The being in bed before midnight sounds very sensible, well done with your acheivements with that so far. And your other goals sound like they'll help your health :) What exactly is a 1010 in a 1001 list? I've been thinking about doing a photo 365 project too as I've seen some friends doing it on Facebook.

Take care,

Take care in all your goals, go you! I have just been inspired to try and read more books, and whack more people in the shins. 200+ books and 50+ shins in 2 months - thank you for being my inspiration!
