Equus

Google is just going to love this post. I can tell and I haven't even written it yet.

On Saturday my friend Sam and I went to London. We had lunch in Planet Hollywood which was something of an experience given that we had to go in about four different lifts and all through this background staff only area of the troccadero. I certainly get some very different experiences being in a wheelchair! We had a lovely Spanish man to take us through all of that to the restaurant and a lovely Portugese man to take us out again. And we got to have lunch with one of the t-bird jackets from Grease, the Starship Enterprise NCC-1701-A from Star Trek The Final Frontier and Star Trek The Undiscovered Country, Buzz Lightyear and some other really cool movie props. We also had a wander around London (breaking my chair on the way back to the station as described previous) and did a bit of sitting in a sun trap in Leicester Square. It was all hugely great fun but not why we went to London.

We went to see Equus. It's a play about psychology and about belief and about horses. And it's good. I liked it much more than I thought I would.

But that's not why we went to the play. And actually we didn't know much about what the play was about before we got in there. What we did know is that Daniel Radcliffe (the guy who plays Harry Potter and is very fit) was in it. And gets his kit off in it.

So yeah, basically we went to perv on Naked Harry Potter. You get to see everything he's got and you get to see it for a few minutes too. You also get to see everything the girl in it has as well but well I didn't spare her much of a glance.

All I'm gonna say on that matter is that he's definitely done some growing up - and some working out. Yummy.

I enjoyed it. And I enjoyed the play, too.

And to think I was watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night, and pondering how such a squeaky-voiced teenage boy has matured into doing Equus!

Emma - Ok a great many of your life experiences are awesome! I just read that he is bowing out of Equus so you got in just under the wire.
